Catching up

Hey there everyone.
So it's been crazy around here, with all the Holiday rushing around, I get a call from the school that by baby girl is sick, so we've been stuck in the house doctoring her back to health. I went scrappbooking Friday with my close friends and I be darn, I stated feeling bad, so I had to cut it short and go home :(
We have a very busy next couple of weeks. Getting ready for Santa, doing things with the Church, youth party, so on, so on. I really am looking forward to it all.
Lil Missy (my sons gf) has been here for a couple of weeks, her mom was in the hospital for some time and she seems to be a little better but she has a long road ahead, PLEASE, keep them all in your prayers.
On the 17th they are finally going to do surgery on my hand, actually they would have done it sooner but I wanted to put it off, I've been dealing with it for about 3 years but the time has come to get it taken care of.
I'm glad to hear that my dear friend Ceclie is on the road to recovery, been really worried about her. And my bf Trina is the greatest person I know, I love ya girlie.
Till next time
Love yall
Missy

Catching Up

Hey everyone...
Sorry it's been so long, I have no excuses just that I've been plain out lazy and haven't been on the computer much. When you are on it at work all day, you just don't want to come home and get one it some more. Everything is going pretty good. Having an MRI on my hand Monday, just some tendinitis and maybe a cist that has came up...pray it's not to bad.
Some of you know my neice Katie had back surgery, she is doing so good, I am so very proud of her.
We went scrapbooking Friday night and had a blast as always. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful friends and some of the girls I've known since "forever" and some I'm just getting to know, and I want them all to know that I cherish them and look forward to our "SCRAPPIN NIGHTS". It is so much fun and we just all enjoy our "girls" night away.
Well I will try to do better and stop by more often...Love Yall Bunches :)

Tag 4 of your friends

Wow this is an OLD PIC... it is our youth group. We had taken them to Rincon Baptist Church to see the...oh my goodness I cannot remember what they call them selves... but it's a group of very strong men that put on a show and give testimonies and the kids LOVED IT. In the pic is... Robbie, Ashley, Austin, Trey, Gary and Rooster. I cannot make out who is next to Ashley.
This was a lot of fun. Thanks for including me in on it
Love Yall Bunches :)

Proximade Award

Proximade Award
I was presented with this award from my long time friend Cecile. I was so excited when she told me Friday night that I had received an award, and I greatly appreciate it. I copied this explanation from her blog, and here's how it goes... The nature of these awards frequently, is such, that one is requested to pass them on to others we deem worthy of receiving them , in the case of the "Proximade" award, I am expected to pass it on to five worthy souls. I will reference these good people below. First allow me to give you some explanation of the purpose of the "Proximade"----one creates one's blog and one makes posts to it---over the course of time, one receives comments and develops regular readers, and via reading each others pages and exchanging comments one grows "closer" to these people, ---so via blogging one moves into closer proximity to some individuals than one might not otherwise have come into contact with----and acknowledging this "friendship", this proximity---one earns a "proximade".Now I am presenting this award to the following people:

1. Trina
2. Cecile
3. Bonnie
4. Missy

That's the only friends I have on here and I thank God for you all. Love you bunches and thanks again Cecile :)

WONDERFUL TIME SCRAPBOOKING

Hey everyone. So I spent yesterday (Saturday) scrapbooking like crazy. It was called "Scrap Pink" it was to raise money for Breast Cancer and we were at "A Scrapbook Boutique". We all had a wonderful time. We paid $35.00 to scrapbook from 10 am to 10 pm. I must say a HUGE thank you to everyone that put this together. You went above anything I could have imagined. I had so much fun and cannot wait until we all do it again. You all worked very hard on everything and I really appreciate everything.

FINALLY

So here she is...Riley Lauren Riego. 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She arrived around 3:45pm Wednesday 8-27-08. Her and mom are doing great. They got to come home Friday around lunch time. Can you believe the hair this precious lil girl has?
I went to see Kenny Chesney Saturday and wow what an awesome show. I won the tickets and debated on going or not and I'm so happy I did. He puts on a GREAT show. Gary and I had a kid free weekend. We went to Jacksonville Sat morning and came back Sunday afternoon, we had a great time, but I always miss the kids and worry about them.
So that's it for now. Hope everyone has a safe Labor day. God bless.

Sick Lil Girl

So Heather woke up this morning with a 102. fever. Complaining of her ear and throat hurting. She stayed home from school today and I'm sure she will be home tomorrow. I hate it when the kids are sick. She was able to go and stay at Granny's house, and you know how grannys are...spoil them rotten. I pray she gets to feeling better soon.
My neice Ashley goes for her last doctor appointment tomorrow. She is scheduled to be induced on Wednesday, so if not before, we will be meeting Riley Lauren Riego on Wednesday...hopefully anyway. I pray she doesn't have to long of a labor. Till next time.

Saying good bye

So I'm kinda sad right now. Lil Missy has been here for 3 weeks. She use to date my oldest son for 2 years and we got really close. She is like my own daughter, she's had a tough life, but was raised by a very good man. Her mom just has some things going on that I pray she will one day be able to let go of and see what a wonderful child she has. Missy had to go back to WV she starts college Monday. I hated to let her go, but I know she has such a great change to live out her dream, how can i stand in the way of that. She's a great person and I will miss her so much.

Still Waiting

My great neice is being a little hard to get a long with. She is nice and cozy where she is and plans on staying as long a possible. Ashley is due the 30th of August, the baby now weighs 7lbs 12oz. They have decided to induce labor on the 27th if nothing happens before then.
Looking forward to meeting her and giving her lots of love.
Heather did great on her spelling test with those BIG WORDS. She made a 100, and she loves the game that Cecile told me about "TIMES ATTACK", it really does help.
Till next time :)

STRESS

Wow another year of school has started. I've got to get myself and the kids back into the groove of things.
I cannot believe the homework a 4th grader has. I can believe it because I have 2 boys that have already been there, but it still amazes me how much they put on these kids. Spelling words are unbeliveable. "INTERROGATIVE...DECLARATIVE..." what kind of mess is that, I'm not sure I spelled them right. We just have to rearrange our lives a little so that we can focus more on homework... not going to be able to go to Wednesday night service every week like we are use to, but that's okay.
My neice is due anyday now with my great neice. Ofcourse like every lil lady she is taking her time to come see the world. I'm so excited.
We have a crop coming up on the 22nd. Going to the beach in Jacksonville with some of my bestest buddies, and going to spend the whole weekend scrapbooking our hearts out... (going to miss you Cecile) if you decide to just come for the day and bring Cole, you know where we will be :)
My two closest friends have had so much trama here lately, and I'm so praying that the little black cloud hanging over them is fastly moving away, their familes have been through enough.
My addopted daughter (so to speak) has been here for a visit, she has to go back next week :(
She is starting college and I am so pround of her but will miss her so much.
Will be back later, maybe not so long this time :) thanks for the ear

Party

So we went to the bachlorette party after a long week of should we?...or shouldn't we?...We ended up having a really good time, except it was soooooo hot. I will never ever try to drive again while Tara is giving me directions. That was an adventure :)

Trina, Candice and I enjoyed just sitting outside watching the wonderful people walk by. I still do not know how they walk in those shoes. Trina and I actually met up with 2 VERY HANDSOME men and we met up with them after we dropped the other girls off...and we weren't drinking :) Turns out they knew where we lived and so we just let them stay the night with us. "IT WAS OUR HUSBANDS" HEEE HEEE

We did have a great night and ended up getting home around 3:30...I wasn't as good as the others, I did skip out on Church :(

Hope you all had a great weekend.

TIME

Wow time is flying by so fast. There just aren't enough hours in the day. It seems like school just got out and here we go again...getting their new schedules, time to shop for supplies, and clothes. It's never ending. Being a mom that works outside of the home, I try my best to fit in as much time as I can with the kids. They grow up so fast and sometimes you just want to stop the clock and cherish those special moments. I am putting the collar on as "David Shuman" call it and working hard to get back into my christian habits, that I have so fallen short of here lately. Once you get out of the routine, it's hard to pick yourself up and get back going. I thank the Lord for all of my blessings, and I know he will guide me back to where I need to be. So that's what my mission is... to make time to be with my family more, to cherish every moment, and put my Lord and Savior above all. Because with him all things are possible. Thanks for listening.

Cooper

Hey everyone. Been awhile since I've written, still getting use to this. So we've got a new addition to our family. His name is Cooper. He was found by a lady in Bloomingdale and our vet thought of us. He has been abused and his hair had to be shaved completely. The vet checked him out and he is in good shape, except for being a little scared. He seems to like us a lot, very playful. This is our first time taking in an animal that we haven't raised from birth. So far so good. Any suggestions is greatly apprecitated. Pray for us...

My weekend

I have had a great weekend so far. I'm usually rushing around going to games and birthday parties, but I was able to stay home today and clean my house, and just relax. Tomorrow I am going on a date with my hubby to see Toby Keith. We are both so excited. Have to go back to work on Monday but I pray it will be a better week.
